Reap what you Sow: Societal Justice

Too often  good deeds go unrecognized and bad ones go unpunished.  Unfortunately, the right thing isn't always the popular or "politically correct" thing.  Many are afraid to let their beliefs of right and wrong be known, for fear they will be ridiculed.  As a result, those who lack consciences are free to speak and act as they please, for they know that there are few who are willing to actively do something to oppose them.  This page aims to correct that societal problem.

Here I recognize people and groups who have gone out of their way to better society.  Please take a moment to think how you can support them.  Perhaps you can give them your business, join their organization or simply send them a praise filled letter, email, or FAX.

Likewise, this page will expose people and groups who have harmed our society and deserve your active ridicule, shame and contempt.  Avoid their business and bombard them with your criticism and show them the error of their ways.

Please keep in mind that you have the power do this sort of thing whenever you want.  Years ago I remember going back to a elementary school teacher and telling him about the academic scholarship I had just received for college and how I attributed some of my success to his teachings.  I was surprised to see this older man and strict disciplinarian wipe tears from his eyes after  receiving my paltry recognition.  More recently, I told a terminally ill woman who bravely fought against the ravages of cancer how I respected her and was proud of how she was handling the pain and unjustness of her disease.  It was one of the last times I ever saw her smile.  I also remembering telling a pair of drunken knife wielding thugs that they couldn't have my wallet.  It was funny how much this shocked them.  Whether or not your decide to praise and scorn the people below, don't forget to do these things for the people who deserve it within your own lives.

Recognizing the efforts of people and groups who are going out of their way to help keep Darkness from Falling upon our society.

John Kobylt and Ken Chiampou
"The John and Ken Show"

These Southern Californian radio talk show hosts have spent much of their radio careers as the voice of common sense.  In a refreshing no-holds barred approach, they blast wrong doers, be them criminals, politicians or both.  Over the past decade they have called desperately needed attention to a number of issues of importance to California, including helping to thwart the election of a pedophile judge, stopping the predatory practices of an unethical law group, deposing an incompetent governor and helping to prevent a number of stupid laws from passing.  They have also spearheaded various charity projects, including "Operation Home Front", which helps get money and goods to support the impoverished families of soldiers called away from home on active duty.

Their current radio project, "Political Human Sacrifice", is drawing a huge amount of attention to the issue of illegal immigration.  "Political Human Sacrifice"  is a serious attempt to prevent the re-election of Republican David Drier and Democrat Joe Baca to congress.  These people have been far too lenient on illegal immigration issues and John and Ken want to send a message to politicians across the nation that we the people have the power to throw them out of office if they fail to represent our interests and act on this multi-billion dollar issue.
